BET Award | Who else wore Yellow?

SO I COULDN'T QUITE help but notice that there was a theme among the ladies during the BET Award today. I'm not confident on what designers some of them wore, so fill in the gap if you do.  what else did you all notice? And I must admit,

I felt a little old when I heard of groups like "OMG Girlz" and "Mindless Behaviour."

Below are few of the Looks that I was drawn to from the Award

Beyonce as always looked stunning in her Stephane Rolland dress paired with a Givenchy sandals, I was amazed at how much of her baby weight she's lost already...but then again when you have a dedicated team and the will... why not?

Another lovely peplum...I love the length and Tatyana Ali wore it so well, definitely a good combination of the colors.

You would never go wrong with a mermaid dress, I love the simple elegance of this look.

 Letoya Lucket look amazing in it.

Kenya Moore rocked one of those classic look expected at this functions, I'm not crazy about the pink on yellow but nevertheless it suits her.

This is by far my favorite, I love the yellow undertone and the sheer bottom. And of course

Selita Ebanks look radiant in it. 

I love this dress on Tonya Lewis Lee, it reminds me of something Victoria Beckham would wear.

I'm not sure who the designer is but it's gorgeous...

'We run the World' According to Beyonce

The destiny child's days are well over but Beyonce as we all know haven't for a second slowed down, she continued to wow! and keep her spot in the music scene. Beyonce is forever pushing the limits, evolving, and most of all she gains a lot of respect from how hard she works...seriously, checkout her videos and you can feel the energy. Now that the anticipated "we run the world(Girls)" video is out, I couldn't help but notice all the high fashion display, from Pucci, Givenchy, Jean Paul Gaultier, etc.

I loved her performance on Oprah's farewell and that's what took me to search for the video.

Anyhow...Did you even like the Song? the video? or the Dress ups? What kinda message did you gather from the video?

Just as in Project Runway "one day you're in and the next day you're out," fashion trends are in and out, it changes from one extreme to the other. I've see lots of the 20s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s comeback, and yet we always grabble at them like it's all new. Imagine if we had to save the few pairs for next time, that'll be saving a lot more than we can bargain...lol. Although I think the catch is that they comeback more versatile and hot. Perhaps the recession has forced for good ol' recycling that come in ruffles, feathers, bold block colors,plaid flannel shirts,high-waisted, skinny belts, jumpsuits,skinny jeans, Harem pants,sequine mini dress, and inches high pumps/stilletos and many more...

I was trying to look past the everyday mismatch or dress mishaps when i bumped into these disasters...even Beyonce got it bad this time,unless she's taking off to the future quite early.
