and have since been promising that today will be the day that I go out and prepare for it. That has been my 2week long procrastination after my initial tryout left me in pain...it's been a while that I did this...so now more than ever I need the motivation to get going...so any kind suggestions on how to gain that momentum for the next 2wks will be deeply appreciated...I have to do this so there's no backing down at this point.

Okay, I don't mean to panic you but I'm really hoping you've been out on a couple of runs since this post? My recommendation would just be go out and do it! The thing about running or exercising is you (or I) NEVER feel like it (actually that's a lie, sometimes I do) but in 4 long years of regular exercising, I have never once finished a run or session without feeling AMAZING! That's often what gets me out there in the first place.
Good luck on your run and let us know how you go!
aww Vickii...you are so sweet...thanks for the advice. I made sure I ran write after I blogged, then I ran abt 4mi over the wknd which i'm still recovering from...lol(plus it's been a bit cold for me to get out there- good enough excuse). I will try and run tomorrow before the D-day on sunday...I see pain but the feeling after is always refreshing...
so yeah I'm still going for it...
thanks again for the "Go get it" attitude
Well done on your 4 mile run - you're almost there! You'll be fine on Sunday! I would recommend a really short run tomorrow if you must run at all. Perhaps go for a walk so you're well rested for Sunday.
Good luck again!
Oh and eat lots and lots of carbs tomorrow!
I'm very impressed by people who run cause i can't even run half a mile- never could! Hope it went well though :D
