The long awaited night of music by NNEKA came and getting to Troubadour in West Hollywood was no easy drive. I think we tried out luck at short cuts over 3 times, each time it seemed every other car in the next street was thinking they were on to something too but there we were stuck again and taking the only likely option, U-Turn...lol. Anywho turns out it was the same day Obama was in town, so in hindsight hours of wait was expected. It was totally worth the wait though, when Nneka took the stage and wowed the crowd. She was spectacular and very sweet in person too...
I went with a less dressy look, taking the audience and performance style into consideration...but at the same time, I can't loose me. I felt like wearing black and gold, and that's exactly wht I did...from my closet.
- asos black top embelished with gold sequin/short/Kenneth Cole leopard shoe. Nneka is a hippie, hence her effortless natural style...
